The name of Mahatma Gandhi was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
He was born at Porbandar in Gujrat on 2nd October, 1869.
His father was divan at rajkot.

She taught him Ramayana and Mahabharata.
It is said that Mahatma Gandhi took to some bad habits during his childhood in the company of bad friends.
